Nissan Expects to Launch 15 Hybrids by 2016

If the Nissan Leaf wasn’t enough, now the Japanese automaker is looking to introduce a total of 15 different Hybrid models by the year 2016. This announcement is a huge statement, and they are the only large automaker to really make such a bold statement. This statement just goes to show dedicated Nissan is to making a difference.

Nissan-ResonanceWhen Nissan introduced their new model the Resonance, they also announced that they plan to use the same hybrid power-train in a few different future models. While other automakers are hesitant to make a full bound leap into the electric age of the automotive industry, Nissan isn’t the least bit hesitant, and rightfully so. The Leaf was a success, and the Resonance from first impressions seems to become a popular choice for many in Urban North America. To be exact they are planning to use this exact hybrid power-train in the Altima, next-gen Murano, and their Pathfinder Crossover.
