If the Nissan Leaf wasn’t enough, now the Japanese automaker is looking to introduce a total of 15 different Hybrid models by the year 2016. This announcement is a huge statement, and they are the only large automaker to really make such a bold statement. This statement just goes to show dedicated Nissan is to making a difference.

When Nissan introduced their new model the Resonance, they also announced that they plan to use the same hybrid power-train in a few different future models. While other automakers are hesitant to make a full bound leap into the electric age of the automotive industry, Nissan isn’t the least bit hesitant, and rightfully so. The Leaf was a success, and the Resonance from first impressions seems to become a popular choice for many in Urban North America. To be exact they are planning to use this exact hybrid power-train in the Altima, next-gen Murano, and their Pathfinder Crossover.

Nissan has decided to bring out some of the best models that they can get for the 2012 Los Angeles International Auto Show and the company revealed that this time they are showcasing the Nissan DeltaWing and 2014 Nissan GT-R at the show for the audiences. This is for the first time that Nissan has focused on bringing out two very different vehicles at the same show but both the vehicles focus on future racecar design and technology. Nissan has also decided to bring out some other vehicles at the show like the 2013 Nissan Altima, Pathfinder and Sentra which will be at the event. Nissan hopes that the coming few years of taxi world would be solely dominated by their award winning 2014 Nissan NV200 taxi, more popularly known as the Nissan New York City Taxi of Tomorrow. This yellow taxi cab will become the next cab icon amongst the citizens of New York City. The company is also set for the cab’s first official public appearance in the upcoming New York Auto Show. The company has taken diligent efforts to invite the attention of the customers and citizens of New York. Nissan feels that the new cab gels well with the true spirit of New York citizens.
